Nessie

Nessie was the first Siamese ("meezer") to pop out of the "Meezer Portal" in Crownpoint, New Mexico. She was found calmly sitting outside the Post Office of that very small town, located on the Navajo Reservation. No one stepped up to claim her, so she came home and became member #5 of the Oregon Octet. We don't know her exact age, but she's now approximately five years old.

Her name is the nickname for the Loch Ness Monster. Why? Well, for the first couple of months, she hid under mom's bed (so she was seldom seen) and when she DID come out, she played very rough and sometimes acted like a little monster.
